It's the exercising of their legal right to do so. I would think a true patriot, while maybe not agreeing, would respect their right to do so without harassment. That's what makes this country great
But there's an appropriate time and place to make social or political protests, and doing so while wearing the uniform of your university's team or their employer is NOT the time or place.
If these folks want to protest, go for it, but on your own time. Not on LSU's time, and certainly not while wearing our jersey. When they suit up, they represent the university, and a political protest is completely inappropriate.
And I seriously doubt any of them could accurately provide any statistics on police brutality, or whatever other issue they think they're protesting. To be honest, I'm not sure they even know what it is they're protesting.
