I worked in hotel management for 10 years, and I talked to a lot I these parents during down time for these tournaments. I can tell you that many of these guys own their own companies (a lot of landscaping and construction). I got the feeling that early on they searched for the types of jobs that would allow them to travel for 8-12 weeks per year.
