re: The last of my surviving grandparents passed away last night

I lost my grandfather last week. He was the last of my grandparents, the last of his siblings, and the last of some really great men in my life. He lived to 91 and was able to see many of his great grandchildren graduate high school. Life was hard on that generation, but they found joy and success despite the hardships.

I'll miss him for sure. Crappy fishing will never be the same without him.
