Like we vote based on how much money a party raises.
Having the bigger war chest definitely helps.
Here in AZ Mark Kelly has over $25 million yet to spend after spending over $20 million on his Senatorial campaign.
Blake Masters' campaign has $1.6 million.
And it's taking a toll. Kelly is running negative ads 24/7 and Masters is fading in the polls, even though Kelly is selling himself as something he's clearly not - a moderate in a slightly red/slightly purple state where Biden's approval rating is below 40%.

Once again, explain to me why I should vote for you when your party's policies have made everything WORSE across the board.
We already how the dug-in Dims & Repubs are voting- so forget them. What could they possibly tell the independents that convinces them "worse is better"?

Lake had spent just $3.8 million as of July 16, the date of the most recent campaign finance reports. And independent expenditures on her behalf totaled less than $1.3 million.

All of those factors have combined to help Cheney build a staggering fundraising advantage in her race, with more than $15 million in receipts to Hageman’s $4.4 million, as of July 27.
