So when that passed I remember congratulating two of my gay friends (wasn't a couple but two separate couples....hopefully that makes sense) and both guys were like eeehhh.

When I questioned them on it they both said that it will lead to things that will be morally bad. One said children transitioning and the other said (basically the M.A.P. phenomenon that is trying to happen)...
I said that both were just being silly and (jokingly said) that they we were looking at getting out of the commitment of being married.

One is a hardcore Republican and the other I would say is probably libertarian. However both said that the Democrats were trying to scoop up the gay vote to help push this type of thing along.
