Yup. I've followed Harris closely since End of Faith and always found him to be incredibly honest and clear thinking. But when it comes to Trump, it's like he loses all control. It's kind of amazing, really. He basically becomes unhinged...like he's Rob Reiner.

same thing happened to Dan Carlin. I don’t understand how someone so intelligent and insightful can let Trump make them completely lose their minds

It's strange. I get why stupid people who get their opinions from Legacy Media thought he was Hitler. As soon as he dared to "talk back" to media figures who tried to lie about him, they decided point blank they'd smear him. Add to that when it looked like he actually might WIN and the DC Deep State said, "Um, we can't have some fricking outsider be in this position" and they went in as well and it makes sense that normies would fall for all that crap.

Smart people, even those that disagreed with anything he was saying, should have been able to recognize that he was none of that. Hell...I thought he was a terrible candidate and was a joke and not capable of the job. He eventually won me over with his actions. But even when I thought we was incapable of the job, I never once bought any of the claims of racism, etc. The guy was a public figure for DECADES and never once had anyone ever claimed anything like that.
