Yup. I've followed Harris closely since End of Faith and always found him to be incredibly honest and clear thinking. But when it comes to Trump, it's like he loses all control. It's kind of amazing, really. He basically becomes unhinged...like he's Rob Reiner.
One of the things Harris has always said, and I think it's true, is that smart people can find enumerable ways to convince themselves of untrue things. This fits Harris to a "T" when it comes to Trump.

He’s not as bad as Reiner. Harris won’t deny that Biden is world class shitty President in his own right, while Reiner thinks everything is just great.

same thing happened to Dan Carlin. I don’t understand how someone so intelligent and insightful can let Trump make them completely lose their minds

Harris is being honest about intelligent people denying the Truth and embracing the lie. Harris knows this from personal experience by his denial of the existence of our Creator.

I’ve always felt the same way about Bill Maher. He always keeps it real and at the very least is honest in his beliefs. Except when it comes to Trump. They can’t seem to admit that his intentions were for the betterment of the country, even though he was such a divisive figure.
