The second patented feature is even cooler. Dodge is giving the Charger Daytona a real exhaust system called the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which uses tuning chambers and an amplifier at the back of the car to enhance the powertrain's natural noises.

You’ve got to love govt subsidized car companies. It’s amazing how far we have fallen since the bailouts in 09.

If I ever decide to buy an electric vehicle I sure as shite don't want some fake arse exhaust tone or something enhancing power train noise.

If a Mustang, Camaro & a Charger had an electric baby it would look like this.

which will feature a new Hellcat-beating Banshee powertrain.

The Charger Daytona takes the majority of its design inspiration from the 1968 Charger, and as you can probably tell the nameplate is back to having two doors again. (Dodge is being purposefully tongue in cheek by doing this, a funny nod to the mid-2000s outrage when the then-new Charger was introduced as a four-door sedan. But this new Charger has a hatchback liftgate instead of a traditional trunk and a spacious interior with four seats, the back row of which can be folded flat to create a large cargo area.

They should put a feature in them that causes an explosion when turn signals aren't used

This is the lamest shite I have seen all week. It's an attempt to use a famous ICE car likeness to cash in on electric cars.

Nobody wants electric cars. We are not ready for them. They do not make sense.

So instead they are taking a fake body from old Mopar muscle, giving it loud fake gas engine noises, and trying to goad us into electric cars. "Yeah sure bro it's just like a challenger you'll love it".

Utterly idiotic.

"hey bro we're running out of oil and its bad for the earth, lets use cobalt and lithium to make batteries and it'll all come from the wind".=

Fake exhaust to combat a fake crisis. Very poetic.

Marketing wankery at its finest. Wonder what the markup for that soundtrack will be? Do you get to choose the V8 or V6 soundtrack? Does it cost extra to add a turbo track?
