Was going to the swamp to hit balls today and the place was closed. Very interesting.

Why are they wasting money on that goat ranch. That's prime real estate, put it to good use...like a state of the art arena.

Nostalgia is the only thing people love about that place. If any other course in the area was as bad as this you'd be showered with Upvotes.

I hit my hole in one on number 10. Learned alot about golf there.

Be nice if they made it reasonable again

Is there still a live feed on that hole?

The range was closed on Tuesday the 16th, but the course was open, even though it should not have been. It looked like it had not been mowed in weeks. I agree though, it needs to either completely shut down or close for a while to get things under control. A few hundred dollars worth of chemicals on the tee boxes and greens would go a long way.

The school should have a golf course as a student amenity. Cheap place for the students to play golf. I guess that is what it is now.

They could make it a nicer course, but what works? Turn it over to the ag center, turn it over to the business department, close it to outside play, student assessment or blow it up and start over?

LSU wastes enough money to find enough for a decent golf course on campus.

Yah, it’s ridiculous. Need to send one of the Ag people down to Home Depot and pick up a couple bottles of things. That will solve the problem.

Unfortunate, that BREC killed that. BREC provided all the cheap golf you could ever need and it killed LSU and other courses.

City Park is basically on campus though. Webb isn't far.

I really like the layout of the LSU course to be honest. I love holes 6 & 7 they’re a lot of fun. If they would maintain it just a little better than it is now I think everyone would be happy. Lsu and Webb are both $35 on the weekends but to me Webb is way better just because it is maintained better.
