I’d say he gets more of a pass because his weapons were nothing like what we have here at LSU. He also has better rushing stats than Max by far and he did have success his freshman year in his only other full season of play. That was when he had good weapons around him.

This post is so full of shite.
He had more weapons but played shittier defenses in the PAC 12.

People keep bringing up his freshman year in 2019.
Hell Ed Orgeron was at LsU winning a NC in 2019.
Alot changes in 3 years.
Daniels has regressed and the only reason people are saying he gets a pass is because he is in the running to be the starter here.
All these idiots on here bashed him when he was talking to Mizzou about transferring now those same idiots say he gets a pass or he is good.

Freshman year, JD was throwing to Brandon Aiyuk...who is a pretty salty receiver for the 49'ers. Daniels was much better throwing to that guy...which makes sense. Boutte should be similar....and thus I'd expect Daniels' stats to be better.
