They handle steep grades excellently. Lots of torque in the electric motors. Lots.
But yes, long periods of it will absolutely drain the batteries more quickly, much like you’d burn more gas in an engine under the same load.

Facebook marketplace. FIL sold his in less than 6 hours a few years ago.
