It’s a good listen. Around the 13:00 mark, host asks Jay who is ready to step into spots up the middle of the field (SS, 2B, CF). Jay mentions Braswell, Guidry, Nippolt, Milam, Roelig, Kucherak. Does not mention Tanner Reaves.

Good find. I guess maybe with no mention there plus that article we saw saying he would be at Blinn makes it seem very likely he will not be part of the team in 2024.

I think Kucherak plays a huge role in not opting for someone in the portal. I like him and I'm sure Jay really does too.

What does that mean? Who didn't sign? I think it's gotta be a technicality on the wording. I guess the real question is, who isn't coming to campus? I can really only think of a few that would be in question, and that would just be me simply guessing about certain things, but definitely not 5 in question.

Yeah how he stated it was weird. Maybe 5 of the 13 have agreed to redshirt? It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Jokes, of course. I always question my time management skills when I sarcastically type things like that, because it takes me so much longer than it should.
As for Frey, I’ve been rewatching the entire season through Wheels videos and I noticed his pitch selection and plate discipline to be pretty damn good for a true freshman that rarely gets PAs.
