I’m sure kids are told to make vague tweets and get some excitement by their agents. Show an MLB team that if you really wanna sign my client you better come with your best offer.
You see it all the time where they tweet before the third day. Get drafted. Delete the tweet. Then sign.
That’s why I was saying a vague tweet isn’t the same as pulling your name from the draft. Let’s hope no one meets his number and he’s a Tiger.

Is there even such a thing as pulling your name from draft? I thought there was no formal entry/exit process, you're eligible or not and can be drafted or not. These I'm pulling my name out tweets are for show really trying to drive price up in most cases I bet. How many times in past have seen something similar and the player still gets drafted and signs anyways

Following some of the Arkansas class. They had two players on social media say they are removing their name from the draft and MLB Draft Tracker removed them from the best available list. So maybe.

Not gonna sugarcoat it. It’s for sure an impressive class. If they keep the rest of the class it could be one of the top classes ever.
Anytime someone goes to the portal they think they are immediately the top choice and a lock. They will melt if Holman picks us. They are still crying about Skenes being “bought” by LSU. While Skenes said it was for Wes Johnson, the LSU pitching lab, and to play with Dylan Crews. They don’t listen to logic.
Arkansas fans have little brother syndrome hard though. They think they are the pinnacle of College Baseball. They think they have the best fans, best stadium, and best training facilities in the country. They think they own Omaha and Omaha loves them more than us. The best word to describe them is delusional.

I haven’t seen anything about Johnson removing himself from the draft yet so unless the writer knows something (which is possible I suppose) saying “he will be welcomed to campus” is, at this point, still jumping the gun. Not that this isn’t good news!!! But, the draft is the draft. Crazy things happen.

Everything I’ve read on Anderson is that he would’ve been a 1st rounder if he wasn’t hurt, I’ll take 2 potential 1st round arms like Anderson and Johnson from the left side

Pretty sure you have to actually sign up to be in the draft. I believe you can revoke the paperwork too. Not sure if you can revoke it after the draft starts tho.

That’s 9 lefties and good ones. How many pitchers do anticipate carrying? I am asking for guys like Money if they do t get drafted will there be room for some of the pitchers that were not as effective?
