To further elaborate here’s what was said in the article:

“Just one LSU Tigers recruit was selected in the Top 10 rounds (C Blake Mitchell, 8th Overall), and not because of a lack of talent. For the second year in a row (Paxton Kling), Coach Jay Johnson will welcome the top incoming freshman to campus in LHP Cameron Johnson (IMG
Academy, FL). A presumptive Top 30 pick, it appears the asking price was set high, and rightfully so given the massive success (statistically AND financially) seen from the likes of Paul Skenes and Ty Floyd.”

I haven’t seen anything about Johnson removing himself from the draft yet so unless the writer knows something (which is possible I suppose) saying “he will be welcomed to campus” is, at this point, still jumping the gun. Not that this isn’t good news!!! But, the draft is the draft. Crazy things happen.
