Not even to pass another truck going slower?

I’m not a trucker, I’m just using logic here. It sucks. But that’s they way she goes.

Not if the passing speed is 65. Better one driver be inconvenienced than 40.

Just finished up a trip to Gatlinburg and back. On the way up I 59 we hit a military convoy heading towards Kentucky to help out with the flooding. They where doing maybe 50. So the 18 wheelers where in the left lane most of the way up. So many trucks, I cried uncle on I 40 around Knoxville and just took hwy 441 through Knoxville to get to Sevierville. Just had enough of the Interstate and the onslaught of 18 wheelers.

It's called sharing the road. I don't mind waiting behind someone in the left lane as long as they aren't drag racing. I realize the universe doesn't revolve around me.

There are more trucks than ever on the roads and there is still a huge driver shortage. So it's going to get worse without a massive investment in infrastructure. Or you can just stop buying shite.

If your vehicle is governed to 5 below the speed limit, keep your arse in the right lane! No 65 mph truck should be in the passing lane, ever.
Then learn to merge and quit getting on the interstate at 35mph then deciding to gun it to 90.
Also, there's a law requiring trucks to move to the left lane when theres emergency vehicles on the shoulder.
Also, there's other trucks driving 55-60 mph to save fuel.

shite happens.

the Biden admin sign truck governing speed limiters into law. Gonna have a lot of 65mph blockades going on between the poor souls left in the industry if they actually push that shite legislation through.

What's wrong with that? I stay around 70-75 on the interstate and am always being passed by 18 wheelers easily going 85+. Enforcing the speed limit, especially for truck drivers, would do some good around BR.

Speed enforcement and governing speed is not the same thing.
