But in all seriousness, since he probably doesn’t know the basics exactly, they could rehearse the exact match for weeks before.

I can appreciate the athleticism these guys have to make wrestling "work".

But these dudes in here screaming "you know it's fake, right?". Uhhh, yeah. I don't see anyone claiming that they are really fighting. Still doesn't mean that you or anyone else could get out there and flip off the top rope down to the floor and not kill yourself, your opponent, or both.

And I haven't kept up with wrestling in 20 years.

To say he's never done this before (and certainly not on a big stage) that's very impressive.

He owes Miz a huge thank you too. Many times a wrestler is only as good as their opponent allows them to be. The best make their opponents look great.

I present contestant shows like Dancing with the Stars, idol, or big brother.

Also, The Bachelor/ette. Kardashians.

Figure Skating

Cornhole.

Pro Wrestling tours weekly in the US, Mexico Japan and Europe. Outdraws (in live events) most Olympic sports (in non Olympic settings)

There are many ways to interpret the action. But hey bud to each their own.

You couldn't last 5 minutes performing in the ring, or take the bumps. It would be cricketsfrom the crowd watching you try any of the athletic moves they pull off...and ACT at the same time.
Is everyone doing flips now? Haven’t watched in like 15 yrs but surely there’s still a couple fat guys who can only belly flop from the top rope.

This. I watched the video and it just showed Logan Paul’s offense. I didn’t see anything resembling him taking a bump and selling anything. At least Donald Trump took a Stone Cold Stunner once upon a time

combine that with an athletic build and a ton of money to be able to go and spend time training, and anyone of us could be good.

I guess it’s just a random lottery to determine who will be multi-million dollar stars in the company? Since anyone can do it

That was impressive, IDGAF if it was staged, that took some athletic ability to pull off.

I never really ever watched wrestling. Then my youngest son got into it big time and we went to Smackdown twice cuz I wanted to do something special for him.
Watching live I was hooked. It really was just an amazing fun spectacle. Now we watch every week or at least keep up on storylines.
To my 7 year old (at the time) Roman Reigns was his Mickey Mantle and he literally got to stand by him and take a selfie as he walked out. I’ll always have a spot in my heart for WWE just for that moment.

Exactly what I was going to say. I probably stopped watching around the time Vince bought WCW, it just took all the fun out of it. The Shawn Michaels comparison is interesting, it's not just that this kid is pulling off the moves, but he has a kind of physical charisma around the ring that Shawn Michaels had more of than anybody I ever watched

Logan Paul, despite everything horrible about him prior to WWE, is very good. I too wanted to hate him for his past. But dude is natural. Great pickup for HHH era. Hopefully story lines can improve from the Vince regime.

Haven't watched wrestling in years. Some impressive spots especially for someone that hasn't been doing it for years.

I'm laughing at people in this thread shitting on him. No one in this thread could do any of that.

I took my 8 year old daughter to Raw in Houston this Monday and it was a blast. Very entertaining, well done, and every single person in the arena had fun.

Like the poster said about his son, these kids made lifelong memories there with their parents.

The pure athleticism & stamina of the men and women out there was amazing. It was obvious why Chad Gable was on the Olympic Team.

For being a wrestling show, I was surprised at how good the acting and charisma was during the promo cuts and monologues.

If people in this thread really think they could do 10% of the action from the ring and not look stupid they are fooling themselves.
