About 1980 I bought a bootleg album (mostly because it's fun how they jack with the facts on purpose of course and the obscurity) titled Grateful Dead Orpheum Theater Boston, Mass.
On the cover is the Dead from SNL, Bobby in bunny ears. The setlist on the back is obviously JGB. I absolutely fell in love with it. The date? 12/2/77 early show. It just rips.
I disagree about the JGB peak that I would say is 80-84. But will add Jerry Band was pretty darn up to the end. I thought Fall 93 was great, the last time I saw Jerry Band.
