Sidewalk, you don’t know sh@t. Brennen played behind the greatest QB in LSU history and actually made it a hard decision for the coaches to choose a starter in the fall training period prior to the start of the 2018 season. Brennen sort of got a bum rap being second fiddle behind JB, but the history agrees with Orgeron’s decision to play Joe. Still, Brennen had to raise his level of play because Joe is a team player and was mentoring Brennen to improve his performance. That’s something good teammates do for each other. Brennen
could start at at least half of the SEC teams in my humble opinion. Brennen’s never going to be a heisman caliber performer but he is a solid QB at the college level. He’s had some bad luck but all that hopefully is behind him.
