No matter what political side you are on, this has major implications.
Decide not to go, China now claims they are the strongest country and made the USA scare away. Then Taiwan instantly invaded by China. US then enters the war to back Taiwan and shipping lanes.
If she does go and they shoot down the plane, instant war declaration.
If she does go and they do nothing, then Pelosi looks like a hero to some of the country. (not me - to be clear)
It’s a lose lose situation.
