Our current setup has us shooting about 125yds. I have a PSA 300 B/O. For some reason I never had much success with it. But again, I've only used FMJ ammo with it. Maybe I should try out different ammo with it as well. I might be over thinking this whole process but I can't stop thinking about it. Hahaha

Lone star boars has a video where they used the 300bo and I think his takeaway was not to use that again. Switched to 6.8 (apr performance barrels) in 2010 and have never looked back. Still working through my wad of 110 pro hunters. With the .223 I would get 1 or two decent shots but then with the sounder spreading out, I'd go center of mass and the results dropped off bad. The 6.8 will put them down where i can come back and end the suffering if needed once the immediate fun is over.
