Kimber Micro 9, S&W j frame, or Glock 22 OWB,
Ruger LCP or Bond Derringer in my pocket
Extra mag and a Buck 112 auto on my belt.
Plus usually an AR and a 10/22 in the truck

My dad was an old paper mill superintendent as well.

Mine was too. Didn't realize there were so many sons of old paper mill guys here. Sadly, mine didn't make it to retirement. Sometimes heart attacks and life are unfair.

I don't usually conceal carry multiple handguns except for tow exceptions:
1. When I travel I have a Canik TPSF 9 (2 mags w/ 18 rounds in each) beside my seat and a Canik TP9 Elite SC on my hip (10+1 round mag in it plus 15 round mag in my pants pocket). All 4 mags are interchangeable.
2. When my church starts it's security team, I'll carry a Kahr CM9 in my front pocket (6+1 rounds) and a Kahr CW9 on my hip (7 round mag). I'll have 2 extra mags for each.
My concern is not so much running out of ammo, but being prepared if a mag or gun fails me.

I think I'd like your dad, as well.

My dad worked in a paper mill his entire life after Vietnam. You haven’t properly had your arse chewed out until a paper mill superintendent got a hold of you. Sorry to hear that about your father. Sadly the pressure those men were under caused a lot of health issues. Running a paper mill basically means you are married to it 24/7/365.

I carry a glock 19 with an extra mag on a belly band. If I need more than that it's a problem.
I have a new ride and I am trying to find a good spot to mount a holster for a Springfield xds but it is limited unfortunately.

If you think he is showing early signs of dementia or Alzheimer's, make sure to keep a close eye on him and get him some treatment quickly. It can go back quickly.

I saw something interesting at a local gun shop. This holster had suction cups that mount underneath your steering column. It actually was a pretty cool looking idea if the thing adheres good. The guy behind the counter said it worked great on his truck and stated you couldn’t see it when looking into his truck from outside of the window.

That’s my attitude but without even the extra mag. If I need more than one pistol with 10 rounds then whatever. I’m fine with my snubnose and five rounds since I don’t hang around unsafe places. A crackhead at a gas station or a road rage incident would be the most likely bad encounter and in either case, one gun will do.
