Maybe this will reiterate to the board/club that we are still short a few pieces if we really want to win trophies this season.
wasn’t there a press conference recently where Arteta said that we’d have funds this January? I think Kroenke knows that this is a very good opportunity to win something so I think we’ll be buyers.
As is though I think the first team can win the FA Cup and probably Europa but we will need a couple extra depth pieces this winter to really be able to challenge in more than one competition. Don’t think we’ll be able to hold on and win the league due to the inevitable injury/loss of form of some of our main guys.

he’s got to start bagging goals because i’ve been losing faith

he will win the golden boot at the wc and then come back and not score for us.

I kid, but hopefully he gets a couple there and comes back ready to roll.

Only need a draw against #19 Sunday (but should win!) to be top of the table at the break!!

Man city would still have to draw or lose because of GD. They go top with a win and an Arsenal draw.

Arsenal will be well represented this month with 10 players on 7 different teams. Hopefully Turner is healthy and becomes a brick wall for us

I love how they all look super serious and then they have Matt Turner with his goofy arse smile

Well boys, top of the league. Get the win today, and get a bit of breathing room.

1st half seemed more of the same for the past month+

All the possession, but nothing really threatening in attack.

I'll be very thankful for this break. The attacking legs are definitely tired. Arteta needs to start using/trusting his subs more. And also when he does make a sub, don't wait till the 80th+ minute.

Feel gutted for Xhaka, since he might now miss the WC depending on the severity of the injury.

He was puking, so I think it was just an illness (hopefully).

Looks like we are just kind of going through the motions. No sense of urgency

Wolves have 5 men behind the ball at all times and are only hoping to latch onto a counter.

We have had some ok looks, but Jesus simply can't finish right now.

Need more from Martinelli and Odegaard to unlock their backline. But Arsenal aren't playing anything behind, everything is side to side.

We are top of the league! Say we are top of the league!!!

5-point cushion heading into the break. Definitely not something I would have projected in early Aug.

Am I getting ahead of myself in the 88th min? Perhaps

Feels good. Glad we can break down teams that pack 11, subs and coach in the final 3rd.

Great feeling going into the break.

Now please no injuries at the WC, and hopefully some of our lads can find some goal scoring form.

Boxing Day at 2pm. Finn’s seems like a good spot to continue the cheer.
