I caught some Yahoo article preview that was downplaying his actions and saying how miniscule the numbers of someone carrying while a shooting was in progress were. Anything to discredit the guy with actually eliminating the threat for greater damage.

This would be more prevalent if the news didn't belittle gun owners so often.

They're also using incomplete and outdated data to push that BS.

I posted this earlier, but one thing that stands out to me is the reversal in numbers from police and bystander regarding armed versus unarmed confrontation with the attacker. This should spell out very clearly the best way to deal with these attackers.
