Hey guys, I’m a regular lurker but I don’t post much. With that being said, I am trying to plan a bachelor trip and at this point our options are as follows:
-grand isle: bow fishing/trout
-Midwest duck hunt: not looking to break the bank so this is almost out.
-South Texas dove hunt: we would be looking for a ranch to stay at.
-Missouri mallard hunt: the guys would be very disappointed to spend the money to go there and shoot a wood duck.
If anyone has any insight on this please let me know. The wedding is in December so we have some time.

The Bow fishing will be the most dependable, the doves didnt show for the 1st two weeks of the season when I went for my bachelor part.

I don’t know how the drought in Texas will effect dove numbers this year, could be a bad year.

Sandhill crane hunt with long neck outfitters in Lubbock, TX. They cover west Texas, they’ll put you on the birds.
