So I don’t know if these people are corrupt but if you had to guess which ones were the most corrupt in order from most to least who would be your top 5.

The contestants are LaToya Cantrell (Grand Wizard of New Orleans), Sharon Weston Broome (Imperial Wizard of Baton Rouge), Murphy Paul (Chief LEO of Baton Rouge/Reverse Discrimination in Chief), Jason Williams (District Attorney/Nonenforcer of laws), John Bel Edwards (Governor/dictator in Chief), Billy Nungesser (lieutenant governor/ Iraqi dealmaker), Adrian Perkins (mayor of the port of Shreve), Bill Cassidy (Senator/Puppet), Lacey Cavanaugh (Department of Health vaccine and mask enforcer)

Will edit upon further submissions and will tally votes after one official receives 25 votes.

The acadia parish clerk of court is the highest paid elected official in the state. The title has been held by the same family for almsot 150 years i think. nobody ever runs against them. iirc Huey Long was somehow involved in it. I’ll try to find the story and link it

Alario is retired, so he’s no longer #1.

It’s hard to argue against Latoya. New Orleans D.A. Williams is probably right behind her. Lt. Governor Billy Nunguesser and House Speaker Schexnayder are no slouches either on the Republican side.

As for judges, Janice Clark and Trudy White are breathtakingly unashamedly corrupt.

Might just be top of mind because of Kiran's story, but Broome and Paul are building something impressive. Employees outright calling on the FBI to investigate? If only the Bureau wasn't just as corrupt and probably running interference for them.

Am I mistaken, or did the mayor of Baker give himself a raise somewhere near the ballpark of $200,000 and he is out of office more than in the office? My apologies if I'm WAAAAYYYYY off. I try to avoid fake news sites at all cost. I only get my news from legit sources, mainly TigerTurds.Gub

I tend to not know much about what is going on in Baton Rouge or other cities but I'm just waiting for Latoya to be led away in Handcuffs so yes on #1. Jason Williams is already awaiting his trial so yes on that. Peterson just made her plea deal and has resigned so I guess we can't vote for her anymore. Not even a mention for our governor?

If you want to fix this then change the Statute of limitations from 5 years for politicians to 15 or more. I have friends who are in federal law enforcement and they’ve told me repeatedly that politicians game the system because of the 5 year cap. By the time a crime is identified, a case built and then can be prosecuted time has expired.

Karen Carter Peterson. While she was a state senator and the Chair of the Louisiana Democratic Party, she diverted campaign money to herself to fund her gambling habit.

For you not to include EWE , far and away, as Louisiana's most corrupt politician ever makes this poll null and void. Possibly the most corrupt politician of all time.
