A decent antenna gets crystal clear ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox. That’s a good bit of live sports and prime time tv for free.

I'm actually gonna piggy back off this point and ask a question.

I have the HDHomeRun Quattro with 4 tuners and God forbid we get another hurricane and lose internet, does the digital antenna through the HDHomeRun app still provide signal via inTRAnet in my home?

For example, I can run a generator and power a tv, HDHomerun and antenna. Will I be able to see local radar and such via the digital antenna and hdhomerun without internet?

as long as your LAN router is up and functioning, you should. You might lose guide/program, data though.

If that should happen, just connect the antenna to a TV away you go. Or just split the antenna coax signal so it runs to both the HDhomerun and a TV and be done with the concern all together.
