What part of Christianity suggests we are the only beings God created?quote:
Spiritual idiot #2.....Genesis 1:27..."So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
I had no idea that Genesis explains Star Trek.

Any Scientist presenting data for public comsumption should first be asked a simple question for the record so that we may decide for ourselves whether or not to believe their findings: "What is a woman?"...

Faith means believing in the absence of proof or in the face of hidden or even contradictory proof.
It would be easy to believe in God if he suddenly appeared as a 500 foot John Sykes playing a Les Paul through a thousand foot Marshall stack.

That was written after humans jumped down from the trees and stood upright. The authors of the various books of the Bible omitted the fact that humans evolved just like all the other species evolved on this blue planet.

They already know that God is real, it is just that they decided to be on the Devil's team.

The Natives of this country despite not having a Bible or western history, called him The Great Spirit. And were thankful to learn he had sent his son. Then some were brought back and became legitimate European royalty, crowned and adorned as the Kings and Queens of this Lost Tribe of Israel. They were monotheistic, never considered pagans, but rather a wandering lost tribe that had lost their roots and gone nobly savage. It wasn't even considered conversion, but completion. There were many Indians who wrote about it themselves. It's very interesting.

Some did, and some did not. Among the peoples who embraced the concept of a "Great Spirit," that concept often bore a closer resemblance to The Force than to the Christian concept of God.
But Christian missionaries were often quite successful in equating their God to the Great Spirit and thereby incorporating Native beliefs ... much like early Mediterranean Christians incorporated the Northern European pagan beliefs re Easter and Yule.
It is far easier to absorb existing beliefs than to erase them.

The Great Spirit, The Garden Of Eden, The Tree of Life, The Flood etc... versions of this already existed in every separate part of the world. Because it's the truth.

Or its because almost universally humans have a hard time dealing with their own finitude. So they invented religion to assuage their fears of death.

Or they didn't have electricity and you could just see God and it was obvious. That's why they all had such similar stories and atheism didn't exist at all

Are you uncomfortable with Christian iconography?
No. Not at all. Because none of these depict what the true and living God looks like according to His word. So keep on, if you wish to continue to be childish.

You see they were able to travel great distances, mark the days and time with the heavens. The stars and moon and sun all move in predictable patterns and don't change. And they had no other gadgets to ever rely on for this like us. No inventions necessary, and what was provided was totally ordered and not at all random and meaningless. It was like they lived in a box specifically designed for them. It's still exactly the same way, we are just distracted.
Light pollution is inescapable. You'll see crazy things if you get 1000 miles, a totally different sky, but you still won't see all of it. Not until we turn all the lights in the world off. Lucifer means light-bringer.
You and I and everyone else alive have NEVER seen the sky the Indians saw. Maybe there is something there when you see all of it.

What a gotcha. How can man possibly understand God or his reasoning? You ask which god like a Muslim, Christian or say a Jewish version is to be the correct one. Why would you think any one of them could claim their version to be the correct one ? Man has nothing but faith to reach him
