They don’t actually own any part of the team. It’s a piece of paper and a few meetings a year to make them feel important

In reality that may be more the 'operating system' in Green Bay...however, the FACT that the team is'owned' by mostly Wisconsin residents, that means it will NEVER, be held hostage by a greedy owner looking to leverage his power in one way or another....it would be nice if there were many more such 'ownership' arrangements in the NFL and other professional leagues !
