That is very far from the truth. Pretty much every offensive number he had this past season was better than his numbers from his freshman season. 2 less homers is the only drop off but he hit more doubles. He walked more and K less. I would say his approach was much better. That had nothing to do with his defensive play.

So you don't think focusing on something that doesn't come natural to you can have an affect on other parts of your game?
