I disagree here. There's a reason the BTAA is so powerful. The research sharing and partnerships is a extremely beneficial.

Yep. The research is funded by dollars and a ton of them. There's no conference that comes close. The PAC12 had 2/3 of the research money of the B1G and a lot of that just changed coffers. No other conference had even half.
