Where are you located? If you are around SELA, Crowne metals in Albany, La. will make custom bases for you. They made me some when mine rusted out. They can then make the vertical height anything you want. I used a floor jack and some 2x4s to raise each side and slide the new base in the legs.

This is what I would do. Add my 4' to the bottom instead of the top.
