You should and I do get a annual one, but in the 38 years I have been going to my one spot I have never seen anyone checking random vacationers on the beach. Not saying don't get one. Just saying the other spots mentioned get cheeked often to make sure you do get one, and get the reef fish add on. That guy with the snapper didn't know anything about the add on but did have a license. So even if he caught it the next day during the season they still would have taken and ticketed him.
