I put about 30k miles per year on a truck. At twice the mpg it pays off. Especially since I idle about 2 hrs a day.

GM is going to put the 10 speed in the 2023 2500 6.6 gassers. I have a 2021 2500 with the 6 speed. The 6 speed is tried and true but would be nice to have the 10 speed. Rumor is will be a 1-2 MPG gain with the 10 speed. If its like the 1500's you will have to get into the higher trims to get the 10 speed.
