Listen, bubba, there is nothing more +EV than relying on small airport security to start a big flight journey.
I don't think it's ever taken me more than 5 minutes to go through security in my local airport. And there's free parking, too.

The last thing I want to do is have a 2 hour drive tacked on to a multi-hour flight, but maybe that is just me
