The question that I've had for a long time is how does having a volatile publicly traded token not discourage adoption.
Why should businesses use a public chain with a crypto that invites speculation when they can use a private chain and not have to deal with the cost volatility.

The idea would be decentralization would more likely prevent manipulation versus a private chain.
