Now there’s a reference I never thought I’d see.

I remember Slip running something like a toss sweep, where the direction of the play was away from the student section, and all I could see was him turning it into a 10 yard gain on the other side of the field.
I watched the replay of the game, and the camera on the other side of the field showed that he bobbled the pitch for all but the last few yards of the run, with eyes as big as saucers the whole way.
