I have one from when I used to live in a subdivision and had a very small yard. It was perfect for that yard and you’re right, it’s so much easier to work with. However, after almost seven years in my new home on an acre with lots of fence line and other crap to weed eat, it’s crap. I bought a new battery for it once since having my new yard and that seemed to add power and life but now, a couple years later, I’m done. I just cut grass on Sunday and was telling my wife afterwards about it being time for me to finally get a gas powered weed eater and blower. I can’t do it anymore with this big yard and the freaking jungle that grows in it.
