Buy a nice Stihl weed eater and use the ethanol free gas in a can

This- I can’t understand how the same people on here that piss on electric cars all day run to say electric weedeater because they can’t figure out how to do simple maintenance on a small gas engine.

I have a Stihl that is TWENTY years old. My parents gave it to me as a house warming present.

I PROMISE you that none of this battery stuff some of us are incessantly bragging on here will be functioning in 20 years.

In many cases it's not that they can't figure it out, rather it's because all that maintenance is a pointless exercise and a waste of time. Technology has improved, take advantage of it. The goal of every technology is to get more done with less human time and effort and/or at lower total cost. That's why you use a gas trimmer instead of something manually operated.

If you had a battery trimmer already, and it did absolutely everything you need it to do with very little maintenance, why would you even consider switching to a different technology that doesn't do anything more for you other than add a lot more labor?
