Great call by Jj to pinch run Bianco there. Love the aggressive base running from Bianco. We probably don’t win that game if he stays at first. That ball barely bounced in front of the catcher

Experienced base running right there. Recognize the ball is diving down and take off immediately

Yep, he was able to score on Thompson's single because he took 2nd. Dugas struck out in the next AB, so it could have easily gone downhill if he hadn't done that.

That stolen base was one of the most important plays of the game. Great baseball IQ from Bianco.

And great move by coach. Jay Johnson is a coach that does not like to lose. And winning is only celebrated for a very short time. Onto the next game. I do believe when Johnson gets the pictures he needs to compete in the SEC LSU will be back

I have complete faith in Johnson. This year is lagniappe and he’s done well as a first-year coach. I think he’ll win a few championships once he gets a nice pitching rotation recruited/developed.

I forgot who Bianco pinch hit for. Morgan, right?
I’m assuming he’s still wearing that knee brace under his pants?

When I played college ball, we practice dirt ball reads by reading the Trajectory of the ball out of the pitchers hand. We practiced it so much that even our slowest person on the team was stealing 5-6 bases per season. It’s these small parts of the game that can make a big difference in the outcome.
