I'm less than a mile from Oak Mountain as the crow flies. We're up there quite a bit throughout the year!

Can you give me some biking tips for the area?

We brought our cruisers, not our mountain bikes. Hope to do improved trail riding and some hiking/jogging.

Not huge into biking, but a lot of folks ride along the main road. I would definitely take the kids to the BMX track. My 5 and 8 year old love it - should be just fine even with cruisers.

For me the best hikes are out of the north trailhead - blue is my favorite. I generally will take that one up to the king's chair outlook and connect back to the red trail (or white if I have some extra time). If you park at the Peavine Falls trailhead it's a short hike to the falls and kids would probably enjoy that one.
