Remember when the team played a friendly in Chattanooga? It was in Feb, camp cupcake, and cold and rainy and the stadium was still packed because it was giving a soccer crazy town a chance to watch their national team play.

I don't get why we don't do that more often for friendlies instead of using the same 5-6 venues now.

It’s a long shot but I would kill a man for them to play at Protective Stadium in Birmingham. No idea how the crowd would be though. The USL attendance there isn’t great

Especially with the explosion of new, MLS specific venues in the last few years.

I don’t know if it would be jammed pack but I would have loved to have gone to one in DC if they ever came when I was there (would make sense to being the Capitol and all). Audi Field is only a few years old.
