The 8 haves and 8 have nots just doesn't work, imo.
Programs like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Texas, or even Arkansas could be in either group, IMO. The SEC just does not break into these two groups easily.
We need 2, 8-team divisions and 9 SEC games per year.

Really it is the big 6 and little 8 in the sec.
The big 6 have sec titles the little 8 don’t. I’ll assume Texas and OU have a good shot at joining the b6
