The myth is that he fixed the inflation problem when in fact he poured gasoline on the fire. The exact same thing is happening right now with a few twists: 1) we are more indebted and 2) our population isn't booming so the demand expansion in these last few years was artificial and exasberated by changing the way we consume via Covid policy. Consumer prices are getting hit because of supply constraints in 2022 not demand from Treasury checks. A higher IOER would do nothing to reduce those pressures and is more likely to cause more damage just like the 70s. Pile on the Ukraine conflict and the East beginning to decouple from the Eurodollar system to make things worse and the worst possible time.

Pretty sure the time-traveling marvelous orange bastard tried to warn us. He warned of $7 a gallon gas under Biden. Now he is saying they could hit $10.

Add to that even Obama warning us not to underestimate Joe's ability to frick things up and here we are...

Inflation happened therefore it actually is limited in scope compared to the relevance on the past time it occurred under a supply chain/fake virus economy.

The press needs to keep pushing them on the term "transitory", and ask when costs will be slashed.

I know they won't but maybe someone with some balls will

It’s called price gouging when everyday citizens Jack the price up during a time of serious demand but not when oil companies and others do it!

Disagree to an extent. Covid got the ball rolling, but the supply chain is fricked because of labor shortages. Most supply chain jobs are low skill/low pay jobs that were abandoned with free money and aid floating around. Many of them were able to make as much or more money by staying home. All exacerbated by the same issues in less developed countries where most of the inputs into our supply chain come from.

She should get a job doing the weather on a local TV news show.
That way she would be paid less for being wrong all the time.

Not only could she not see this shite coming but once she did, it took her a long-arse time to fully understand the effects that boosted energy, boosted food prices, and supply bottlenecks would have?

Just when I thought I'd heard all of the dumbest crap out of Dems mouths, suddenly a new one, even dumber one, comes out of one of their mouths.

How can Dem jackasses be so stupid to believe even their own lies? I mean really, pet rocks are smarter..............

Yes.

Several of the administration and staff have quit. That's definitely the right thing.

But that's all I've got.

Labor is a means of production so I was implying that it contributes to a supply chain disruption. Basically the whole issues stems from 60 years of exporting our manufacturing capacity.
