If you think about where this team would be without Berry, Reyzelman, Cooper, Jobert & Gervase…then I’d say it was a success.

But what if we didn’t have Crews, Doughty, Morgan, or Hilliard? What’s your point?

By the way, before you respond because I think I know where you are going with this, Gervase and Jobert were recruited to come here by Mainieri, so you can thank him for that.

Losing Coleman early was a huge blow to the pitching staff.
