Finally found pictures of the haul and the perps

https://www.gueydantoday.com/news/vermilion-parish-sheriff%E2%80%99s-office-makes-multiple-arrests-after-investigating-burglary-gun-shop

Pretty detailed write-up at that site.

Oh yes, more perps were arrested than were convicted. Maybe they got one or two to flip, or were juvies and cut loose. Some convicted felons in there, which may explain the 96 and 120 month sentences.

It's amazing how many felons in possession arrests there are. One might imagine that would be one good place to start with some sort of federal "three strikes and yer out" law.

What is street price on a stolen gun anyway? Trying to figure out how much those 32 guns would have brought in. Am guessing that all 4 of them could have made that much in a month or two at some $15/hr fast food joint.

Old article said 6 arrested and value over $20k

They stole just a little ammo. I guess ammo is too expensive to steal now.

Are any of those "Assault weapons"? People had better be careful when walking by the evidence room. Kamala says those are dangerous. We don't want good people kilt just from walking by the room these are stored in.
