I remember the sons and family members forgiving Dylan Roof right after he killed all those innocent people at black church because he hated black people. They are amazing people to even forgive him as quick as they did but I couldn’t do it.

I’m gonna give her just a little more time to process all of this and come to terms with what just took place. I can’t imagine the shame a parent of such a monster must feel after all of that.

I mean, think about all those parents wanting to run in to save their babies - I’m sure as a mother she wanted to run in to her baby too and will have to cope with coming to terms with him being a monster for the rest of her life

Bad parenting aside, I consider lots of people to be crappy parents and their kids still don't do anything remotely like this. What on earth is the "proper" response here? What do you say when your own baby is a murderous monster?
