Make sure the edges that snap together are clean of any small debris. It will create a bump where they join. A little paper or anything. Keep a vacuum handy. I used Cali bamboo long boards which are pretty big. Made the process go much faster.

did you glue it down or is it floating?
I think this happened whenever the previous homeowner installed the shitty laminate that I have now. There are a few bumps and they drive me crazy.
