The unfortunate thing is that Wade may be one of the last coaches to get crucified for "improper payments". Had NIL been allowed for the majority of Wade's tenure there is ZERO doubt he would have worked relentlessly to secure the necessary resources to work to his advantage. But, 2, 3, 4 years ago was a completely different era in college sports.
McMahon seems to be a guy that has accepted the reality of college sports today (immediate transfers, NIL recruiting) rather than bitching about the difficulties of it relative to years past.
