Ok I’m not the only one. The whole time I’m watching it, I’m thinking “This is about 95% speculation.”
The series is great, but they present it just like Planet Earth where they have real footage of the behavior.
I get that they can surmise the shape and size of animals, whether they could swim, etc. But some of their distinct characteristics and behavior have to be legit guesses.
I might go to the website later and see if they shed any light on it.

Yeah, this is mostly science fan fiction.
