my starting wages at the company I'm at were at poverty level, especially since I was initially assigned to NYC, I had the patience and foresight, and sense of delayed gratification to realize that this job, in just a few short years would turn into a lucrative, high paying gig with excellent retirement and benefits, 38 years later it has exceeded all of my wildest projections

And on average, still 40% stronger than starting wages today…..

So now do you understand the issue?
